Why We Built STEMix Academy
For decades, young students in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in Tamil Nadu were told that high-tech engineering—autonomous robotics, artificial intelligence, and aerospace engineering—could only be studied in top-tier colleges after Grade 12.
We founded STEMix Academy in Kovilpatti to shatter that barrier. We proved that an 8-year-old child can grasp logic gates through visual block coding, a 12-year-old can solder an ultrasonic sensor rover, and a 15-year-old can design custom CAD prototypes and configure quadcopter flight controllers.

Shanmugaraj
Graduating with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Paavai Engineering College (2015-2019), Shanmugaraj quickly transitioned from research engineer to passionate educator. Having served in technical leadership roles at premier robotics institutions, he observed first-hand the severe disconnect between conventional book exams and the actual design engineering required by modern industry.
He established STEMix Academy in Kovilpatti with a clear mandate: provide students with real hardware kits, industry-standard CAD software, and patient, hands-on guidance so they build tangible working prototypes.
