Terms of Service & Laboratory Rules

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in courses, visiting physical laboratories, or accessing digital portals operated by STEMix Academy, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are enrolling on behalf of a minor student, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian authorized to give legal consent.

2. Hardware Lab & Safety Conduct

Our robotics and aeromodelling programs involve electrical microcontrollers, soldering irons, lithium-polymer batteries, and 3D printing thermal elements:

• Students must strictly adhere to laboratory safety protocols and wear protective gear (safety goggles) when instructed by mentors.
• Intentional misuse of equipment or unauthorized dismantling of shared laboratory hardware is strictly prohibited.
• Parents must notify academy coordinators of any specific medical conditions or physical accommodations required.

3. Certifications & Digital Portfolios

• STEMix Academy certificates are issued upon verifiable course attendance (minimum 85%) and completion of required hardware capstone projects.
• Each credential is protected by cryptographic hashing. Attempted falsification or tampering invalidates the credential immediately across all partner registries.

4. Admissions, Fees & Rescheduling

• Course registrations are confirmed upon receipt of fee installments or initial booking deposits.
• Missed classes due to illness or academic exams may be made up during dedicated weekend buffer sessions upon advance notice to the coordinator.
• Refund policies for specialized summer camps and competition kits are governed by the specific program agreement provided at registration.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising from educational services or digital platforms operated by STEMix Academy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Thoothukudi / Tamil Nadu, India.
